313. Gold First Place Winner's Medal. Goldplated silver, 51mm, by Cassioli. Victory seated above stadium. Rev. Victorious athlete carried by jubilant teammates. VF-EF/EF, lt. wear on high points obv. ($4,000)

314. Gold First Place Winner's Medal. As preceding medal, EF, filled hole at top. ($3,750)

315. Official Torch. Aluminum alloy, 47cm (18.5") tall. Cutout Olympic rings dividing legend "MELBOURNE XVI OLYMPIAD 1956". 110 torchrunners carried the flame from Darwin to Melbourne after Quanta's Airline brought the flame from Athens. Rim nicks around top and sm. rb., VF-EF, with engraved torchbearer's initial on bowl (15x7mm). ($5,500)

316. Participation Medal. Bronze, 63mm, by A. Meszaros. Olympic rings over Melbourne coat of arms within legend. Rev. Olympic motto within circle of athletes marching in pairs. EF, in original plastic case. ($350)

318. Track and Field Official's Badge. Silvered, multicolor, 30x51mm, blue border. EF, some toning. With red ribbon (pinhole) inscribed "ATHLETICS". Numbered on back, with engraved name of official. One of 374 badges. ($500)
