c225. Gold First Place Winner's Medal Awarded for Tug of War, Team of the London City Police. Gold, 15 Karat hallmarked, 33mm, 28 grams, by Lindberg/MacKennal. Two females crowning winner. Rev. St George killing dragon. "WINNER TUG OF WAR" engraved on edge. Only in the 1900, 1904, 1908 and 1912 Olympic Games were actual gold medals awarded to the winners.
